Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development / Sales Executive Officer to join our insurance agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, expanding our client base, and building strong relationships with customers. The role involves promoting various insurance products, generating leads, and ensuring excellent customer service to maximize business growth.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities for insurance products.
    • Generate and follow up on leads to convert them into sales.
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow the agency’s portfolio.
    • Meet and exceed set sales targets and revenue goals.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Provide clients with tailored insurance solutions based on their needs.
    • Ensure excellent customer service and handle client inquiries promptly.
    • Manage client renewals, policy amendments, and claims follow-ups.
  3. Marketing & Promotion:
    • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote insurance products.
    • Utilize digital marketing, social media, and networking to generate leads.
    • Represent the agency at industry events, seminars, and networking forums.
  4. Product Knowledge & Advisory:
    • Stay up-to-date with various insurance products and industry trends.
    • Advise clients on suitable insurance policies, benefits, and coverage options.
    • Conduct product presentations and educate potential clients.
  5. Reporting & Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate sales records and submit periodic sales reports.
    • Ensure compliance with all insurance regulatory requirements.
    • Work closely with the underwriting and claims team for seamless service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in insurance sales or business development.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products (Medical, Life, General Insurance, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and CRM tools is an added advantage.
