An asset register template developed with advanced excel to track a company’s assets. The template is developed to generate asset tags number that are encoded into Bar Codes and QR codes.
The Bar Codes and the QR Codes can be printed and stuck onto the assets for tracking important information about the assets e.g :
- Name of the Asset
- Location of the Asset
- Date of Purchase of the Asset
- Valuation of the Asset
Using our mobile APP or a bar code scanner, once the tags are scanned information about the asset is decoded.
How it Works
Populate asset information into the Excel sheet template, the template can also work on google sheets. The template is coded to generate an asset identifier number based on the name of the asset and a number. E.g below Computer COMP-001
The tag number is then encoded into a bar code and a QR Code. Either of the codes can be printed and stuck on the asset for identification and monitoring.
With the Asset Template mobile App, the bar codes can be scanned to decode the information about the asset as shown below.
